Streaming Netflix goodness should never be more than a single click away. To facilitate the convenient-as-possible approach to instant movie access, Netflix has come up with a new scheme: get major electronics manufacturers to stick a big red Netflix button on remote controls for their Blu-Ray players and IETVs. Sharp, Sony and Toshiba will be outfitting their TVs and Blu-Ray player remotes with a dedicated Netflix button, while quite a few other brands--including Panasonic, Samsung, and Best Buy’s Dynex--will integrate Netflix into the Blu-Ray remote control experience.
Netflix promises to show its face on remotes for Boxee, Iomega and Roku set-top boxes in the future, as well.
